Milton Robert Rajo passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the age of 58. Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Milton was a proud New Orleanian since age 3. Milton is survived by his daughter, Erika, his son, Connor, his mother, Julia, the mother of his children, Victoria, his two brothers, Oscar (Lori) and Nelson, his sister, Ana (Skip), and his two loving turtles, Spartacus and Lil’ Rocket. He is preceded in death by his father, Armando and his spirit animal, Zak. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous devoted friends, whom he considered family.
Milton was an eccentric, witty, vibrant and caring person. Milton loved spending time with people, cooking great food, taking pictures, listening to live music, attending festivals and entertaining. He made everyone he came across feel special. Milton will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 20th from 11:00-12:00 at St. Anthony of Padua (4640 Canal St. NOLA 70119) followed by a funeral mass at noon. Immediately after, there will be a second line led by Soul Brass Band to Banks Street Bar and Grill, where we will celebrate in true Milton fashion. Attire: Please dress as bright and colorful as Milton’s personality (creativity is encouraged). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Milton’s name to Second Harvest Food Bank New Orleans or the Tipitina's foundation, as music and feeding people were two of his passions.
