Sylvia is a Licensed Funeral Director native of New Orleans a former resident of Chalmette and a current resident of Metairie. Sylvia is married to Anthony Mantia and has two children, Natalee and Nicholas Mantia. She is a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette and received an associate degree in Business Management from Delgado.  She started her career in the Funeral Industry in 1984 and has been an employee with Greenwood Funeral Home since 2017.

Charlie Eagan

Charlie Eagan

Funeral Director

Charlie is a native and resident of New Orleans. He is married to Jennifer Bodet Eagan and has three children, Joe, Ed and Maura Eagan. He is a fifth generation Funeral Director with over 30 years of experience caring for families in their time of loss. He previously served as President of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Homes, Inc. Recognizing his wealth of experience and strong ties to the community, Greenwood Funeral Home offered Charlie the position as Managing Partner in 2014. Charlie joined Greenwood and continues to meet the needs of his client-families with dignity, empathy and individualized care.

Dom C. Grieshaber, Jr.

Funeral Director

Dom was born in New Orleans. He is married to Mary Real Grieshaber.  They have four children and twelve grandchildren. He graduated from De La Salle High School and Loyola University. He is a veteran of the United States Army, member of the Knights of Columbus, Vice President of the American Italian Federation of The Southeast, board member of the New Orleans Yacht Club, parishioner of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, member of the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Dom enjoys sailing, cooking, photography and spending time with his grandchildren. 


Laura Lamandre

Pre-Need Counselor

Laura is a New Orleans native and a certified prearrangement specialist at Greenwood funeral home with over 11 years experience in all facets of funeral and cremation prearrangement. Laura is a dedicated caring professional that helps guide families with the many difficult decisions at a most difficult time. She is well versed in the many funeral regulations and requirements needed at the time of a prearrangement from Social Security benefits, Veteran eligibility requirements as well as the proper Medicaid spend down procedures. Laura and Greenwood funeral home, as in the years past, continue their tradition of helping families at their time of need with funeral and cremation pre-planning.

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson

Receptionist

Jennifer Johnson is originally from Covington, LA. She is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a BA degree in Business Administration. She moved to New Orleans in early 1990. Jennifer worked in Mortgage Lending for many years. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and gardening.  Jennifer joined the Greenwood family in July of 2021.

Jim Lohan (Retired)

Jim Lohan (Retired)

Funeral Director

James “Jim” Lohan was born and educated in County Galway, Ireland. He studied Philosophy and Theology at St. Patrick’s College in Carlow. In 1973, he came to Louisiana to serve in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He became a funeral director in 2000 and has been with Greenwood for 18 years. He is a member of National Funeral Directors Association and a parishioner of St. Christopher the Martyr Church.
