Michael Henry Lacoste passed away suddenly, at his residence, on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the age of 58. He was divorced from Peggy Moreci Wurz. Loving son of Lorraine Parker Lacoste and the late Melvin H.X. Lacoste. Loving father of Stephen M. Lacoste (Kristy) and Melissa J. Lacoste. Step-father of Frank Catalano (Stephanie). Grandfather of Landon Lacoste and Kayla Catalano. Brother of Kelvin Lacoste (Terry) and Melanie Barnhill (Cyrus). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Michael was retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and was an employee of SAIC at NASA as the Senior Systems Engineer at the Naval Oceanographic office in the Mine Warfare Division. He was a graduate of Tulane University with a Master of Science Degree/Information Technologist. He was a loving father and grandfather with a good sense of humor. He was a beautiful person throughout and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations to charity of choice preferred.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
