After a long courageous battle with cancer, Connie Englert was called home on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the age of 64. She was surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Kris Kent (Lisa), Kortnei Cucinella (Anthony Jr.), Kylei Cucinella (Paul), and Konnei Auglair (Allen Jr.). Daughter of the late Joseph Arthur Englert and the late Dorothy Pecoul Englert. Sister of Hollie Duckworth, Terry Englert and the late Randy Englert. Loving MiMi of Logan Kent, Bryce and Laci Cartwright, Colin and Madison Cucinella, Ava and Rylee Cucinella, and Sophie and Aiden Auglair. Longtime best friend/sister of Debbie VanArsdale. Ms. Englert was born in New Orleans, was a longtime resident of Chalmette, and currently a resident of Slidell. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Home Depot are invited to a memorial visitation and service at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell, La. 70461 on Saturday, January, 20, 2018 beginning at 11:30 AM . Words of Remembrance will begin at 12:15 PM followed by Mass at 12:30 PM. The inurnment will be private.
