Yvette Heiman Moreau

Yvette Heiman Moreau of Metairie, Louisiana, died surrounded by her loving family on June 27, 2021, at the age of 79. She was born in New Orleans on July 22, 1941, to the late Sydney and Bernadine Heiman, and was the beloved wife for 54 years to the late Jack Moreau Sr.

Yvette and Jack were blessed with two children, Jack August Jr., and Sandra Ann Kokes (deceased), grandmother of Jacquelyn Moreau, Erika Bisgaard Jason (Dylan), Justin Moreau, Christian Bisgaard, and Jessica Moreau. She adored her grandchildren, and they nicknamed her "Bet" (short for Yvette). Yvette placed her family above everything else. She was extremely thoughtful to her family, as well as numerous friends. Yvette was a great listener and will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend their gratitude to our mother's caregivers, Laura Ray and Felicia Dillon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Greenwood Funeral Home at 5200 Canal Blvd in New Orleans on Friday July 9, 2021. Visitation is from 9:00-11:00a.m. Mass will begin at 11:00, officiated by Fr. Mark Lomax, and interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
