Vincent John Moscona

Vincent John Moscona passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018, at the age of 67. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was a long time resident of Metairie, Louisiana, and recent resident of River Ridge, Louisiana.
Beloved husband for the last 40 years of Valerie Culhane Moscona. Beloved son of the late Clement Joseph and Angelina Randazzo Moscona. Beloved father of John Clement Moscona (Kelly Dugas Moscona) and Stephen Joseph Moscona. Beloved grandfather of John Clement “Jack” Moscona, Jr. Beloved brother of the late Joseph Clement Moscona and Mary Ann Moscona Boudreaux (Alvin). Beloved brother-in-law of Pam Timmons (Arthur), Jack Culhane (Alicia), Melissa Forschier (Walter), and Megan Bordenave. Beloved uncle of Bejamin Moscona, Kristina and David Boudreaux, Jeanne and Sara Timmons, Jacqueline Culhane, Kevin, Kelly, and Brian Forschier, and Jennifer, Matthew, and Alison Bordenave.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation form 11am -1pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Boulevard. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1pm in Greenwood Chapel with Interment immediately after at Greenwood Cemetery.

Vincent attended Archbishop Rummel High School and was a graduate of the University of New Orleans. During his career, he was Vice President of several property and casualty insurance companies in the New Orleans area.
Vincent loved spending time with his family and friends and was an active member of St. Matthew the Apostle Church and Rosary group in River Ridge, Louisiana. Vincent had a captivating smile for everyone he met. He will be sorely missed.

Our family would like to thank the staff in the Emergency Room and Neuro ICU at Ochsner Hospital Main Campus for all their help in Vincent’s final hours.
