Tracy Thomas Gately, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Beloved son of Katherine Krentel Gately and the late Tracy Thomas Gately. Brother of Kathleen Gately Weller, Karen Gately, Kim Gately Johnson, Karrie Gately Ward and the late Kelly Gately Clark. A lifelong Bucktown resident he was employed as a Commercial Electrician. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by Graveside Services at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation to Covenant House, 611 N. Rampart St., New Orleans, LA 70112 preferred.
