Tribute

Toney Frank Pumilia left this earth, Sunday, September 23rd, peacefully in his sleep. Toney was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and a graduate of Warren Easton and Loyola University. Toney loved performing as well as teaching music and spent his tenure with the Jefferson Parish School System as a band director. He is preceded in death by his parents Michael Pumilia and Donna Demonde Pumilia Ragusa and his sister Michelle Pumilia. He is survived by his brother Chris Pumilia (Hazel) nieces Jennifer Lass (Jeremy) Jessica Rodrigue (Brad) Melissa Bourgeois ( Mark) nephew Nicholas Pumilia and was great-uncle to Mark Jr., Braxton, Jonathan, Makenzie, and Evelyn. Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside ceremony on Tuesday, October 2nd, at 10 am Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
