Thomas Howard Edie Jr.

Thomas H. Edie, Jr., age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Mr. Edie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and lived in Metairie for the past seventy-eight years. He was a graduate of Ridgewood Preparatory School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. A retired postal carrier, Mr. Edie will be lovingly remembered for his love of family, hunting, and painting. Predeceased in death by his parents, T. Howard Edie, Sr. and Leatrice M. Edie. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia D. Edie; son, James C. Edie; daughter, Jennifer D. Zajac (Daniel); and granddaughters, Ava Edie, Evelyn Zajac, and Aubrey Zajac. The family will receive family and friends on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
