Thelma A. Deroche Michot, resident of Metairie died on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 95. Thelma was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Elvire Deroche of Killona, Louisiana and the wife of the late Uray J. Michot, Sr. She was the mother of Charlotte Michot Lamandre Carrigee (Thomas), Uray J. Michot, Jr. (Roberta), and Michael Michot. Sister of Larry Deroche, and the late Joseph Deroche, Lawrence Deroche, Aline Hebert, Hazel Dufrene, Ethel Zimmerman, Hope Guidry, Grace Shifflett, Clara Deubler. Grandmother of Dominick Lamandre, Jr. Christi Lamandre, Charles Lamandre, Lawrence Lamandre, Wendi Michot, and Ray J. Michot, III (Jessica), Great grandchildren: Dylan McCaffery, Molly McCaffery, Courtney Farrington (Allen), Kylie Michot,
Madison Michot, Joseph Michot IV, and Catelyn Michot.

She was the aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. with a mass at 2:00 P.M. at the Shrine of St. Ann Church 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, LA followed by interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
