Teresa “Tree” Haab

Teresa “Tree” Haab passed away on September 6, 2021 from health complications and cancer. She was 68. Beloved wife of 26 years to Chris Haab. Daughter of the late Paul Huston and Frances Farrar Huston. Sister-in-law of Karen Stastny (Dale), Edah Schmidt (the late Freddie), and Mark Haab (Denise). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Teresa was born in Jefferson City, MO and was a resident Algiers, LA. She was a graduate of University of New Orleans. Tree enjoyed spending time with her husband and loved her wine. She also really loved New Orleans culture, like riding on floats during Mardi Gras and celebrating in the French Quarter. Teresa and Chris were married at the time of Jazz Festival.
A Celebration of Life for Teresa will take place at a later date.
