Shirley Cramond Maillian passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Emmett L. Maillian. Mother of three loving daughters, Cheryl M. Malhiot (the late Louis Malhiot, Sr.), Sheila M. Waguespack (Stephen Waguespack) and Shelley R. Maillian. Grandmother of Louis A. Malhiot, Jr. (Vickie) and Leslie M. Maltese. Great Grandmother of Jessica Adams (Kasey), Derrick Garrison (Megan), Ian Malhiot (Kristin), Tyler Maltese, Alexis Maltese and Ashleigh Maltese. Great Great Grandmother of Julie Adams, Emilie Adams and Dakota Malhiot. Sister of Lorraine Fury and Patricia Scioneaux. Sister-in-law of Lois Cramond. Dear family friend of Shirley Tessitore. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George M. Cramond, Sr. and Olive V. Cramond; two sisters, Claire and Vera Cramond; one brother, George M. Cramond, Jr. and two brothers-in-law, Sam Fury and Louis Scioneaux (Sino); and a family friend, Gary Hayward.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Monday, February 26, 2018, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
