Roland Lee Creson Jr

Roland Lee Creson Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2023 at the age of 66.  He was born on January 31, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Roland and Joan Nodier Creson.

Roland was employed as a courtesy shuttle driver for Royal Honda.  He retired from Jefferson Parish as an HVAC Technician and Building Inspector.  He also hosted Nola Town Bible Study on WGSO radio.

Roland enjoyed reading, writing poetry, bible study, listening to music, and attending performances by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.  He loved telling stories & could always make you laugh.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by Roland Lee Creson Sr. (father); Ferdinand and Estelle Nodier (grandparents); Cecil and Lillian Creson (grandparents).

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Cynthia Meyer Creson; Joan Nodier Creson (mother); Jennifer Marie Creson (daughter); Joan Marie Creson (sister). 

A private viewing will begin at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 17.  Family and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at noon at Greenwood Funeral Home located at 5200 Canal Blvd. in New Orleans.  Interment begins at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery.
