Richard Joseph Roach

Richard Joseph Roach passed away on Friday, February 05, 2021, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Carol Sidman Roach for 38 years and father of their son, Ryan William Roach. He is survived by his first wife, Dianne Roach Darwin (Elmer) and their children, Nicole Roach Forrest (Steven) and Gerald “Jerry” Thomas Roach. Grandfather of Madison Elizabeth Forrest, Logan Thomas Forrest, and the late Elizabeth Mary Forrest. Son of the late John William Roach, Sr. and Nellie Hymel Roach. Brother of Dolores Breaux (Harold) and their children, Harold, Jr. and Cheryl; Kathleen Legnon and her daughter, Pamela Legnon; Robert Roach; and the late John Roach (Joann) and their children, Mary Ellen Leger (Kevin) and John Jr. (Raquel); Gerard Roach; and James Roach.
Mr. Roach proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended Loyola University and Banking School of the South. Richard retired from Chase Bank as a Bank Officer.
A private visitation will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, followed by a graveside service at St. Patrick Cemetery #1.
