Richard Edward Lyons, Sr. passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Sandra N. Lyons. Loving father of Rhonda Wale, Robin Doussan, Rachel White, Roy Lyons, Randall Lyons, Ross Lyons and the late Richard “Ricky” Edward Lyons, Jr. Grandfather of Scott Lyons, Bradley Lyons, Craig Lyons, Noel Bergeron, Dylan White, Trey Doussan, Tyler Doussan, Savannah Lyons, Faith White, Logan Lyons, Angel Lyons, Morgan Lyons, Roy Lyons and Brianna Lyons. Great grandfather of Landon Evens and Harmony Evens. Son of the late Percy Lyons, Sr. and Inez Angelo Lyons. Brother of Mac Lyons, Harold Lyons, Percy Lyons, Jr., Barry Lyons and the late Diane Lyons Blache.
A private Funeral Mass was held for the family at St. James Major Catholic Church and burial followed in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
