Raymond C. Bauer

Raymond C. Bauer passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the age of 75. He was the beloved son of the late Frank George Bauer and Ester Martinolich Bauer. He was the brother of the late Frank, Albert, Alvin, Ernest, Paul, Edward, Robert, Richard, George and Louis Bauer; Gloria B. Johnson; Audrey B. Hayden; and Merline C. Bauer. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. 
Mr.Bauer worked as a custodian for the New Orleans Recreation Department for 33 years. He loved television, music and working outside in his yard. He also loved animals, and it brought him joy to take care of a few friendly cats that lived near his home. He was a happy soul. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Thursday, December 23, 2021, starting at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel at 11:30 AM, and a burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to your favorite charity are preferred.
