Patsy Aline Jones Walker

Patsy Aline Jones Walker, age 88, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend to many, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023.

She was born on May 3, 1935 in Sunbright, Tennessee, but grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before getting sick, she loved going to church, Bingo, and going to the casino. She enjoyed doing crosswords, and watching NASCAR, and the New Orleans Saints.

Pasty leaves behind her daughter, Kim Walker Terranova (Michael); sons, Ronald C. Walker (Sandy), and Steven M. Walker. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Nick Walker, Jennifer Linn (James), Jessica Terranova (Cassidy), Danielle Walker, and Kai LaGrange, along with 5 great-grandchildren, Parker and Charlotte Linn, Luka Terranova, Liam Walker, and Rafael Cassini. She also leaves behind many friends, nieces, nephews, and her special beloved nephew, Charles Ray Rooney (Glen).

Preceding Patsy in death was her loving husband, Ernest G. Walker; son, David K. Walker; parents, Cletus Ray Dock Jones and Nina Ellen Shillings Jones; sisters, Ila Jean Caro and Edith Jones Linker; and brother, Carl Dean Jones.

Special thanks to Brookdale Mandeville Senior Living and Foundations Hospice for the special care they gave to our beloved mother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, starting at 12:00 PM, followed by a Mass in the chapel at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Mausoleum.
