Melvin Christopher Schick

Melvin Christopher Schick of Harahan, LA entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 53.  He was born on March 13, 1969, in New Orleans, LA to the late Melvin Edward Schick and the late Patricia Melancon Schick.

He is survived by his sister, Laura Schick O’Brien (Mario Zeron), and his two brothers; Joseph E. Schick (Suzanne) and Claude H. Schick (Kelly); his godson, Mike Vaughn (Aimee), uncle to many nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend, Patricia Thompson.

Melvin was a graduate of Rummel High School and the University of New Orleans with a degree in business.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 A.M. in Greenwood Cemetery.
