Mary Helen passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 30, 2021. She was born on September 30, 1937, to William O. Kraus, Jr. and Edna Descant. Mary Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She joins her husband of 62 years Jack, her daughter, Geri Lynn Bulot (Don, deceased), and her grandchildren Christopher and Danielle Bulot.
Mary Helen will be loving remembered by her daughter Laura Nicolich (Ray), and her son John Muller, Jr. (Jen), three grandsons; Eric Bulot (Misty), Cody Muller, and Cullen Johnson and two great-grandsons Seth Bulot and Ayden Pilet. She will also be missed by six step-grandchildren and ten step-great grand-children. Mary Helen also leaves behind her sister Rosalie Bella (Sam) and sister-in-law Marci Kraus (Bill, deceased). Also, a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, sitting outside watching nature, and going to the casinos every chance she could.
Mary Helen was retired from St. Bernard Parish Library. She was an active member of St. Bernard Council on Aging and AARP Packenham Chapter, until she moved to Carriere, MS to live with her daughter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, Louisiana 70043, on Friday, May 7, 2021 starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
