Mary Alice Pratt

Mary Alice Pratt transitioned on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center, at the age of 85. She was born in Waterproof, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana
Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents Jasper and Corean Turner and her beloved son Robert Pratt.
She leaves to cherish her memories three loving children.
Victor G. Pratt Jr. (Janice), Patricia Pratt Thomas, Larry (Wendy) Pratt, five grandchildren, Kenan M. Thomas, Jamal K. Pratt, Courtney R. Dollis, Latrevia A. Pratt and Jared K. Pratt, great-grandchildren Dennis and Dreux Alexander, lifelong devoted friends of 75+ years Maxine Darensbourg, Gerald and Janice Bodet, godchildren Lamon Crockett and Rhonda Darensbourg, godbrothers Willie and William Johnson, numerous devoted cousins, other family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration Service on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11am, St. Mark’s Fourth Baptist Church , 2130 Perdido St., (corner of S. Galvez), New Orleans, LA 70112. Visitation 9am-11am. Pastor Robert Turner Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum , 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that all attendees wear a face mask.
