Mark David Wollfarth

Mark D. Wollfarth, 55, of Folsom, LA passed away on the early morning of Sunday, March 21st, 2021. Mark is survived by his daughter, Megan Wollfarth, and many lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius Wollfarth Jr. and Joy Charles Wollfarth.

A New Orleans native, Mark graduated from Riverdale High School and went on to be an established boat mechanic in the community for over 30 years. Mark was known as a lively, quick-witted, comical man with many friends he considered to be family. Mark never met a stranger, and his positivity was always an inspiration to everyone he met.

Mark’s birthday was 3 days prior to his passing. A birthday party is scheduled for Mark on Sunday, March 28th at 3:00 pm at the Golden Age Center at Pontiff Playground (1521 Palm St Metairie, LA 70001). A Funeral is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday, March 29th at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124, visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a reception to follow from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. All are welcome to attend these celebrations of Mark’s life.
