Mark Dauth died peacefully on June 16, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at home. He was born August 31, 1955, in New Orleans to Maude & Ernest Dauth.
Mark graduated from Abramson High School, Class of 1973. He continued on to receive an Associates Degree in General Science. After high school, he joined the Army and advanced to the rank of Sargent. Mark work for Brandon Screen Company for many years, until Katrina. After repairing his family home and his own, he went to work for Lockheed Martin (Michoud) as a General Maintenance Worker. He worked at Michoud with various companies as the contracts changed, and was the Recording Secretary of the Union (UAW 1921) where he retired once on LTD. Mark loved his fishing and playing slots at Harrah’s. Mark and Debbi were married for almost 43 years.
He was preceded in death by Ernest Dauth (Father) and his sister, Marie Nuessly (Michael, Sr).
A loving Husband and ‘Pops”, is survived in addition to his wife, Deborah, his family; Maude Dauth (Mother), children, Charles ‘Chuck’ Artigue (Beth), Carri Artigue, Michael Nuessly, Jr (Godchild); and his beautiful grandchildren Brooke Reeves (Aaron); Taylor Artigue (Colin), Devin Artigue, Chloe Artigue and Jake, Blessed with Great grandkids Lila, Charlotte, Beckham and Everli Jo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, starting at 11:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
