Marjorie Marie Dufrene

Marjorie (Margie) Fontenot Dufrene passed away at home on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at the age of 81. Widow of Earl (Teeboy) Dufrene. Daughter of the late Ferdie Fontenot and Marcellina (Lena) LaCombe Deshotel. Survived by daughters Connie D. Gaffney, Darlene D. Sintes and son Bret J. Dufrene. Survived by brothers Adrian and Brian Deshotel and sisters in law Marilyn and Susan Deshotel. Preceded in death by her brother Clifton James Deshotel. Grandmother to Steve Sintes, Jr. and Kellie Gaffney Banks and granddaughter in-law Jessica Sintes. Great grandmother to Heather Kimball, Stella Sintes, Jameson Sintes and Shira Sintes. Aunt and Great Aunt to many. Margie was an avid Saints fan and attended the games at Tulane stadium. Her favorite singer was Elvis, whom she adored. She also enjoyed watching old movies. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in the Greenwood Funeral Home chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
