Marion D Wilson

Marion Daret Wilson, age 94, entered eternal rest on September 7, 2023, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Ulmo Daret and Reno Joseph Daret, her husband Wilmer A. Wilson, Sr., and four children, Wilmer A. “Billy”, Jr., Charles R. “Chuck”, Jewel and Lenny. Marion is survived by Geary L. Wilson (Debbie), Rodney D. Wilson, and Joy Loga. She will be especially missed by her thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grand child. Marion was born in New Orleans and a life long resident of Kenner. She worked in food service with the Jefferson Parish School Board for sixteen years. She loved to read, and wrote in her daily journal. She was involved in scouting, camping with her family, and loved telling stories of her life. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Services at 11:00 am, on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
