Margaret Williams Giovingo

Margaret Ann Williams Giovingo passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021 at the age of 88. She was a native/lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Peter John Giovingo Sr. and her parents Anna Foto Williams and John A Williams. She is survived by her children Mary Newgard (Dave), Joseph Giovingo, Sr. (Angelita Novelo) and Peter J Giovingo, Jr. (Stephanie Veron). Grandmother of Ashley Newgard and Mariah and Joseph Giovingo, Jr. A graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican College in New Orleans, Margaret was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church for over 60 years and was involved in many ministries of the Church. Margaret was a kind and caring person who loved her family and was always willing to help anyone. She loved all things New Orleans and was a huge Saints fan. She was full of life and a blessing to us all.
