Lucille Marie Mollere Mariano

Lucille Marie Mollere Mariano, at the age of 96, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2021. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell, for the past 33 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Dewey Joseph Mollere and Elise Simoneaux Mollere, sister, Elsie Mollere Boos (Edward), and two brothers, Harold Mollere and James Mollere (Fran), and daughter-in-law Kathy Mariano.

She was a loving mother to Nancy Mariano Reuther (Warren), Janice Mariano Parker (Kenneth), Anthony Mariano, and Vincent Mariano. She is survived by eleven grandchildren; Gina Mariano Sutton (Arthur), Greg Mariano ( Constance), Emily DeSalvo Blackburn, Gerald DeSalvo (Jessica), Meredityh Parker Landry (Mathew), Jason Parker, Bryan Parker (Danielle), Joshua Parker (Jessica), Christine Mariano, Phillip Mariano, and Zane Mariano. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Verlee Mollere.

Lucille was an avid sports fan and never missed an LSU or Saints game on TV, she loved to travel with her grandchildren, and watch Jeopardy and solve the crossword puzzles daily.

A private funeral and burial was held and at Greenwood Funeral Home and Greenwood Cemetery.
