Connie and Bobby,

I'd like to send our most heartfelt condolences to your family. Lorraine was such a special person in our family. She was the kind of person who brought love and light anywhere she went. She will be missed, and most certainly never forgotten.

Sending love and peace to her family and friends.

Love,
Kelley and Scott Parel

I will truly miss Lorraine, especially on the first Sunday in June. This is the special day we hold
our John McDonough high-school reunion luncheons.
Lorraine will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

To the whole family,

We are grateful and blessed to have had the experience of Ms. Lorraine in our lives. I feel my perspective of life would be totally different if not for her. She taught us to laugh in the midst of sorrow, to celebrate your strengths, to cherish and love every moment with family, to dance and be you, and to second line through life because life is truly a celebration. I learned so much from her and I feel that I am a better person because of her. She left her mark whenever she entered a room and made the world a better place for it. She will be greatly missed and her spirit and energy lives on around us. She is in every good time, every second line, every "throw me something," every tour of remembrance for those who fight for life, every streetcar ride, every tap of that jazz piano, every family gathering; she is the epitome of life and lives on.

We send our love to the whole family and friends. We are here for anything you may need.

Lots of love

Connie, Bobby & Family,
It is with great sorrow that I heard of the passing of your mom. She was a great lady, full of life and we will miss her at the various gatherings at our home. Our Christmas celebration will never be the same. Please remember that I carry you and the family in my heart at this most sorrowful time & I will be praying that God will help you and carry you through the trying days ahead. I know that God will receive her and you now have an angel watching over all of you. I will never forget her and the many fun times that we all had together. God Bless her and the entire family!
Love,
Pete

Connie Jean and Bobby:

We loved Lorraine so much. She was our Madam President of our Spa Group. We have been together for 30 plus years and she was always planning all of our get togethers and just two weeks ago we had a luncheon which because of illness I missed. However we had gotten together about 2 months ago for lunch and were trying to see each other at least every 2 to 3 months in our golden years. We spent many good times at Shape Spa and after remained lifelong friends. She was one of a kind and we will miss her dearly. I know St. Peter opened the gates wide for our Sweet Lorraine as she is on the Glory Road now.

As I said to her just last week by email I love you Lorraine.

Aunt Lorraine, You are gone but never will you be forgotten. Your energy and spirit will always be remembered. There was never a person who met you who did not discover early on that you were a very special lady, inside and out. You left a lasting impression on everyone and welcomed them into your life with open arms. Visitors never left New Orleans without loving the city because of you and your love for life. You will be missed but your family and friends will always have a piece of you in their hearts. May you rest in peace knowing that you are with the loved ones who have gone before you. We Love You.
