Lori Ann Zimbelman

Our loving sister Lori Zimbelman, 49, died January 23, 2020, at Oschner Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana at 7:05 pm due to health complications from diabetes. She was comfortable and in peace, surrounded by her loved ones. Lori was born January 1, 1971 and as a New Years’ baby, always loved a good party. She was a Picayune Memorial High School graduate, and enjoyed having a good time. She also loved to dance and making people laugh –especially, in tense situations. If she were here beside us in this moment, she’d probably make some joke to lighten the mood. Plainly, she would not want us to be sad and mourn her loss, but would want to celebrate her life. From a very early age, she had a great sense of humor, was caring and empathetic. Despite her many health ailments throughout most of her life, Lori had perfect 20-20 vision. Her donation to the eye bank allows for the possibility to give the gift of sight to two recipients. Our family believes, Lori is laughing now at party with her parents and relatives who are all eating and dancing for eternity. She was proceeded in death by her parents and survived by her siblings: Debra Mooradian (Los Angeles, CA), Todd Zimbelman (St. Louis, MO), Jensen Zimbelman (Picayune, MS) and Frank Zimbelman, III (Daytona Beach, FL).
