Leah (Cookie) Tabary Caro

Leah (Cookie) Tabary Caro passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the
age of 86. Native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Meraux, La. Leah is retired
from Ochsner Health Systems where she was a computer systems analyst for over
20 years. Her hobby was bingo and on any Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday
you could find her at the same table with her many friends at the Napoleon
Room. She could also be found multi-tasking while rooting for her beloved Tigers
and Saints while marking her bingo cards.

Beloved spouse of the late Clarence Joseph Caro Sr. Mother of Shirley Savoie
(Aaron), Clarence Caro, Jr. (Tammy), Jill Couture (Reed), Leonard Caro (deceased),
Sharon Touchette (David) and the late Kevin Caro Sr. (Lisa). Grandmother of 14
grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and 2 deceased great-grandchildren
(Bryce and Caleb).

Daughter of the late Hamilton J. Tabary and the late Leah Meloche Tabary.
Pre-deceased in death by her sisters Mary Jane (Maisie) Collura, Shirley (Nan)
Wehr, Alise (Mickey) Cummins and Jeanne Englehart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and funeral mass at Divine
Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, La. 70065 on Saturday,
October 1, 2022. Visitation from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm followed by the funeral
mass. A private internment will be on a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, New
Orleans, La.
