Kyle Edward Hayden, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on February 28, 2023. Kyle was born on January 5, 1979 to Marc Lewis Hayden and Judith Anne Brown. Kyle graduated from De la Salle High School in 1998and went on to study Sociology at the University of New Orleans and Culinary Arts in Richmond, Virginia. Kyle has been a proud associate of Home Depot in Covington, Louisiana for the last several years. Kyle was an avid guitar player, his favorite band being “The Ramones,” as well as an accomplished Chef.
Kyle is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edward Henry Brown and Evelyn Carlisle Brown, his paternal grandparents, Horace Lewis Hayden and Rose KornrumtfSchooff and his aunt Aleta Hayden. Kyle is survived by his loving mother and father, step-mother, Karen Himel Hayden, his brother, Austin William Myers, and step-brother, John Denis Touchet. Kyle leaves behind maternal aunts Bonnie Brown Schultz, Patricia Brown Melancon and paternal uncles, Wayne and Craig Hayden, as well as many cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 9, 2023 between 11:00am and 1:00pm, with a Catholic Mass to follow, at Geenwood FuneralHome, 5200 Canal Blvd. in New Orleans. As a tribute to his love of “All things New Orleans,” a jazz funeral procession will accompany Kyle to his final resting place in Greenwood Cemetery.
