Julie Janusa Saluzzo

On Friday, March 12, 2021 Julie Janusa Saluzzo entered the gates of Heaven where she now sees the face of God. She is the beloved wife of Gerard Saluzzo, precious daughter of Georgiana M. Janusa and the late Dominick Janusa, and loving mother to Nicholas Saluzzo. She leaves behind her younger sisters Joni J. Boudreaux (Scott) and Jo Ann Pecoraro (Vincent), brother-in-law Leonard Saluzzo (Maureen) and sister-in-law Mary Beth Meyer (Ken). Julie was adored by her Godchild, Danielle Boudreaux, and her nieces, nephews, and great nephews; also, her loving cousin Dianna Traina, and dear friend Sharon Fargnoli and childhood friend Cecile Steele. She will be missed by her fur baby, Mai Tai. These final months were difficult but ever present was Julie’s wit, intelligence, perseverance, and love for her family and friends. The family expresses its gratitude to their dear friend, Sharon Fargnoli, who was at Julie’s bedside providing laughter and smiles in the most difficult times. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 20, 2021, in the Greenwood Funeral Home chapel, 5200 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124.
