Joyce Hope Blouin

Joyce Hope Blouin passed away on June 19, 2022 at the age of 92 surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Herbert Arthur Blouin, her Grandson, Michel Stephen Breaux, Jr., her Mother, Julia Tournet Vicknair, Stepfather, Chester A. Vicknair and Brother, Ramon J. Simoneaux, Sr.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three Daughters, Judy Breaux (Mike), Jaynie Owen (Tom) and Joni Freibert (Roger); nine Grandchildren, Courtnie, Matthew, Ashley, Katy, Roger, III, Kirstie, Hope, Audrey and Patrick; and ten Great-Grandchildren, Nathan, Addison, Trey, Lily, Emmanuel, Annie, C.J, Bart, Axel, and Collyns. Great-Grandchild #11 is due in December. She is also survived by a Best Friend, Margaret Radetich, #4.

She loved going to the Casino, playing Booray, and watching the Saints and LSU Tigers. But most importantly her life revolved around her family and loved spending time with them.

A special thanks to Ms. Gloria, Shanelle, Cap, Leatrice and Pat for the respect and loving care given during difficult times.

There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t miss her Beloved Husband of more than 60 years. On Father’s Day her Soul was reunited with him and on July 2, 2022, the birth of her husband, their bodies will again be reunited.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Intermittent will be at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, New Orleans Louisiana.
