Josephine Taormina Campo

Josephine “Josie” Taormina Campo passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Metairie, LA at the age of 83. She was born and raised in the New Orleans area, where she spent most of her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Manuel J. Campo, Sr. Together they raised 5 children: Joseph Campo (Sherry), Angene Campo (Paul), Manuel Campo, Jr. (Tammy), Lori Campo Michel, Barry Campo (Christa), and Richard Michel. She was a loving grandmother to Nicholas Campo (Dana), Cody Campo (Anna), Joshua Campo (Eryn), Jena Michel, Carli Michel, Gabrielle Campo (Ty Hillman), and Madeline Campo. She was a proud great grandmother to Cheyenne, Odin, and Ainsley. Visitation for family and friends is on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Funeral mass will follow at 5:00 pm at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Private interment to follow at a later date. On line guestbook at www.greenwoodfh.com
