Joseph Henry George

Joseph Henry George passed away at Lacombe Nursing Home at 4:00 AM, March 29, 2018 at the age of 79. He was the loving husband of Carolyn Schultz George for over 57 years. Loving father of Rick and Karen George. He is survived by siblings Herbert George and Yvonne Morel. Son of the late William “Bill” George and Emily Bruning George. Also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved dearly, his special friends Sally B Mick and Michael and Charles Thompson. Joe was thrilled that he lived to hold Michaels daughter Patricia. He is reunited in death with his mother and father, his brother Billy George Jr, and his sister Alberta Morales. Special thanks to Harmony Hospice and the nurses and staff of Lacombe Nursing Center.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, with visitation starting at 11:30 AM and interment to follow at 1:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery.
