John Benjamin Orr

John Benjamin Orr Jr., a native of New Orleans and a resident of River Ridge, passed away on Friday October 1, 2021 at 10:05 a.m. in Covington, LA. Beloved husband of the late Marie Balsamo Orr. Son of the late John B. Orr, Sr. and Margaret Roche Orr. Brother of the late Marguerite Orr Betbeze. Uncle of Elizabeth Berzas, Nancy Mumphrey, Judy Showalter and the late Marguerite Caudle and Norene Betbeze Berzas
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Dominic Church. Mr. Orr was in the office equipment business for forty two years and owner of Office Services half owner of Crestwood Office Equipment Co. He was a Navy Seabee serving in the Pacific during World War II. A man of Manresa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
