John Scott Carstens

Scott Carstens, age 66, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Beloved husband of Sharon Bordelon Carstens. Son of Rosalind Carstens. Brother of Donna Ricaud and Kevin Verlander. Preceded in death by his father Donald H. Carstens and his brother Warren Carstens. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend the Celebration of life Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
