It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful, Jessica Ann Serpas Brown. Her untimely death has brought deep sadness to all of those whose lives she touched in her 41 years of life.

Jessica was preceded in death by her Father, Michael Serpas Sr., her paternal grandfather, Frank Serpas, and maternal grandparents, Inez and Dom Grieshaber.

She is survived by her children Taylor Gill, Brody and Gavin and their father Russell Brown. Jessica was an extraordinary mother to her children. She is also survived by her loving
Mother, Ann Grieshaber; her siblings, Melissa Serpas, Michael Serpas Jr. (Jennifer), Lindsay Serpas, and Molly Serpas (Joshua). She is also survived by her paternal grandmother Anna Mae Cunningham and many Aunts and Uncles. She will be missed indefinitely. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Jessica was known for lighting up any room she entered. Her vibrant vibes and beautiful smile could easily turn any bad, into good. She had a way with making all those she came in contact with, feel loved and overly filled with positivity and joy. Jessica was “that person” who everyone came to love. She was easily loved. Her free and loving spirit is what drew everyone to her.

Jessica was all about family and any given opportunity to spend time with family and create memories, she took it. Her family was her world. Wherever there was a good time, with those she loved, Jessica was there. She never missed a beat in life.

Through the good and the bad, Jessica always remained headstrong and knew exactly what she wanted out of life. She never settled, not even for the bare minimum.

Jessica is the type of woman who turned heads. Not only because she was so beautiful, but because she was a light in this world, and nothing nor anyone could ever dull her shine.

Relatives and friends of Jessica are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans 70124, on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 12-3. Masks and social distancing are required. Condolences may be expressed at www.greenwoodfh.com
