Jacquelyn Ohlsson

Jacquelyn Darlene Ohlsson transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the age of 75. She was born in New Orleans on October 31, 1946 and was a current resident in Luling, Louisiana. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Carl N. Ohlsson, Sr. and Margaret Herbert Ohlsson; her brother, Darryl K. Ohlsson and niece, Jessica Tyne Stewart. She was a devoted mother to Tiffany Walsh, a loving grandmother to Danielle Ohlsson and Ethan Necaise, as well as, a proud great-grandmother to Hudson Ohlsson. She was a loyal sister to Patricia Mumfrey (Janice Gardner), Pamela Ohlsson, Carl N. Ohlsson, Jr (Ginger Ohlsson), Karen Smith (Danny Smith), Calvin Ohlsson, Sr. (Peggy Ohlsson), Ronald Ohlsson, Angel Hottel (Mickey Hottel), and Dawn Bell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jacquelyn was a strong, courageous, loving, compassionate, giving woman. Her greatest joy was her family! She spread love and kindness to everyone that crossed her path. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Greenwood Funeral Home 5190 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation begins at 9:00 am and Mass begins at 11:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
