Azelia Isabel Trigg Witchen, 91 years of age (January 2, 1931- April 22, 2022), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, John Ernest Witchen, Jr., infant twin boys, her mother, Maria Donaldson Trigg, her brother, Dewitt A. Trigg, and a great granddaughter, Harleigh Renee Fleming. She is survived by her five children, Jim Witchen (Tanya), CeCe Richter (Max), Norma Cuthell (Robbie), Ruby McBride (Dean), and Eddie Witchen (Denise). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Bobby Cuthell, Max Richter, IV (Tiffany), Rachel Loope (D.J.), Stephen Cuthell, Chelsea Fleming (Brandon), Christopher Colletti, Casey Richter, Tony Colletti (Kate), John Witchen and Brianna Witchen, as well as 13 great grandchildren and four nieces. Isabel was a loving, caring and talented lady. She helped many people over the years. She was a dedicated employee of K&B Drugstore for 36 years and won many awards for her crafty displays. She was also a member of a ladies card club, The Holiday Club, for 50 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
