Ida Mae Brown Barrios Ostrowski went to the Lord in the presence of the angels, on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Evone Barrios by her first marriage and Thomas Ostrowski by her second marriage. Loving mother of Victoria “Vickie” Homer (Martin), Cynthia “Cindy” Burst (Arthur), Sandra Fremin (David), Jody Fox (Keith) and Rebecca “Becky” Ostrowski. Grandmother of Elizabeth, Martin IV, Gregory and Jason Homer; Christopher, Daniel and Jessica Burst; Tyler and Dylan Fremin; Heather and Holly Fox. Ida is the Great-grandmother of 14 and Great-great-grandmother of 3. Sister of Frederick J. Brown. She was pre-deceased by her parents Elizabeth Grebenstein Brown and John F. Brown. She was a parishioner of St Philip Neri Catholic Church. Her greatest love was her family and her faith. She will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
