Howard L. “Sonny” Pitfield IV

Howard L. “Sonny” Pitfield IV, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Barbara Rodrigue Pitfield. Father of Jacob DiLorenzo (Kendi) and Jenny D. Lachney (Michael). Grandfather of Aubrey Claire Lachney and Meredith Ann Lachney. Son of the late Howard L. Pitfield III and Dorothy Untereiner Pitfield. Brother of Dorothy Treadaway, Martha Walston (Larry), Wayne Pitfield (Becky), James Pitfield, Oliver Pitfield (Mona), David Pitfield (Debbie), the late Lea Andrews, Patricia Henry, and Michael Pitfield. Sonny is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
