Henry L. Tubre

Henry L. Tubre, Sr. passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Leona Gloria Tubre. Father of Carmen Bass, Henry Tubre Jr., Stephen Tubre Sr. (Shirley), Bruce Tubre and Mark Tubre (Kim). He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tubre was a member of the Keep in Touch Club, Hollygrove Senior Center and The Veterans of Foreign Wars. As a veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Tubre served his country proudly during World War II. He retired from the VA Hospital after 33 years of employment.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
