Helen June Olivier

June Borchers Olivier passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. June was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Morris J. Olivier, Jr.; her parents, Frederick and Edna Mae Borchers, and her brothers, Jack, Frederick and James Borchers, and sister Edna Mae Borchers. She is survived by her two children, Patti Renee Oteri (Jeff) and Morry Olivier (Sharon); three sisters, Anne Borchers Falgoust, Sue Borchers Clemons and Henrietta Borchers Pillers. June will be missed greatly by her four grandchildren; Jacob R. Oteri, Erin R. Oteri, Sarah Olivier and Rachel Olivier as well as five great grandchildren. June graduated from McDonogh 33 high school. She belonged to St. Matthews Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed ceramics, painting and spending time with her extended family. The family wishes to give special thanks to Paul and Marta Trumbach. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the Greenwood Funeral Home chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
