Helen Maxine Bradford

Helen Maxine Bradford passed away peacefully on June 19, 2022 at the age of 97. She was born in Napoleonville, LA to Sydney and Mae Theriot Waguespack.

Maxine is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Robert Bradford. She is preceded in death by her daughter Ann. She is the devoted and loving mother of Mary Ann and Nancy (Michael) and the grandmother of Mikaela and Joshua.

Maxine graduated from Touro School of Nursing in 1946 and worked as a registered nurse throughout her career. She was an active parishoner of St. Mary Magdalen Church where she read during masses. She also volunteered at St. Anthony Nursing Home. Maxine was an avid dancer, tennis player, and reader.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003, on Thursday, June 23, 2022, starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
