Dear Frankie,
You took care of everyone you ever met. And always with a smile, a hug and a joke, and never without your can of Coke-a-cola. You gave big hugs with your tiny frame, and you made everything feel not so horrible. My brother renamed you Bonkie, because you were that special. Practically our other mother.

My earliest memories are of you watching me when I was sick and my parents were away. I was in kindergarten and was missing the kids Mardi Gras parade. I was dying to go. But you knew I was too sick, so you let me dress up in the outfit the day of, even though I couldn't go. I was the princess and the pea. And swimming in the pool with Melissa and Meryl, while you and mom and Shelly chatted in the kitchen and Terri made out with her boyfriend on the couch. My favorite memories growing up are with all of us at our house playing in the pool. Ours was the warmest and biggest family anyone could have ever dreamed of.

When mom got sick, you were there. When Munna got sick, you were there. When I had Julia and didn't have a mother of my own to look to for guidance, you and Terri and Shelly and Janie were there. You've spent your life taking care of everyone around you. And I love you for that. I'm so sorry it's been so long since we've visited. But I know that you know I always loved you and was always so grateful for your love. Melissa is my other sister and I thank god for that relationship.

The world will not be the same without you Frankie. Your infectious and sometimes sneaky smile, your big hugs, even your Coke-a-cola in a koozie are already greatly missed. I love you Frankie. Please hug my Mom and Munna and Janie, Uncle Frank, Aunt Butch and Grandmaw Jane. Try not to cuss out Clyde, he learned his lesson. Have fun getting caught up, just don't forget to look in on us from time to time. We will do our best to be here for Melissa, Erika, Eddie and the boys. You rest now.

Love you,
Meggie
