Frances “Honey” V. Blondo passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Blondo. Daughter of the late Antonio and Francesca Virgadamo. Loving mother of Frances B. Russo (Danny J. Russo) and the late Rosalie B. Gentry (Louis J. Gentry, Sr.) Grandmother of Louis J. Gentry, Jr. (Kim), Joseph M. Gentry (Cherie), Dax J. Russo (Melissa) and Jason H. Russo (Kelly). Great-grandmother of Jace, Luca, Dax, Jonathan, Juliana, Kaine and Landon. Sister of Marie Porrovecchio and the late Elizabeth St. Germain, Julia Puipuro, Joseph Virgadamo and Arthur Virgadamo.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
