Erin Smith Lotz

Erin Smith Lotz was born on January 1, 1943 and passed unexpectedly into God‘s eternal presence on January 9, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard H. Smith and Mary Heslin Smith; and her brothers, Richard J. Smith and James W. Smith, and her niece Erin Smith Blanchard. She is survived by her son, Neil Lotz; her sister, Mary Valley(Glen); her brother, Charles Smith; four grandchildren, Mary, Peyton, Jordan, and Emily; four nieces, Jennifer Ann Valley, Rebecca Ann Valley, Kelly, and Richie; four grandnieces, Maddie, Layla, Amy, and Katie; four cousins, Frank, John, Eric, and Kathleen. Erin was a Redemptorist High School graduate. She worked very diligently as a Pupil Appraiser in St. Charles Parish for many years. Erin was a loving, generous, forgiving child of God. We will cherish her memories forever and trust her to God’s loving protection. We are most grateful to the compassionate guidance of Jeanne St. Upery at Greenwood Funeral Home to arrange a private burial for Erin. In lieu of flowers, our family would appreciate memorial donations to Charles Stanley, Operation Blessing, Pat Robinson, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham Association or Pastor David Jeremiah.
