Tribute

On May 28, 2022, Enola Bergeron Kendall Morvant, passed away into God’s graces at Ochsner Extended Care Hospital of Kenner under tender and loving care in ICU after suffering from lung disease. A beloved and loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. 90 years young, Enola is survived by her sister, Loretta B. Fortuna; daughter, Enola Kendall McCollum Schaeffer; stepdaughter, Linda S. Thibodaux; granddaughters, Christina McCollum, Sherry K. Courtage and Dawn S. Hamilton; grandson, Shelby R. Kendall V; and step-grandsons, Joey and Brock Thibodaux. She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband’s, Shelby R. Kendall III and Junius Morvant; sons, Shelby R. Kendall IV, Kenneth R. Kendall and Stephen G. Kendall; granddaughter, Shelly K. McNab; stepdaughter, Brenda S. Griffin; parents, Reginald A. Bergeron and Germaine Zeringue Bergeron; brothers, Albert A., Reginald J. Sr. and Edwin F. Bergeron; sister, Mary Ann B Suer; nephew, Jessie Fortuna; and niece, Lauralyn Fortuna Varnado.
A private memorial service will happen at a later date at Greenwood Funeral Home and the inurnment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
