Emile J. “Moe” Latour passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Paul Latour; and his siblings, Paul A. Latour, Jr, Joycelyn Broggi and Pricilla Latour. Moe is survived by his loving nieces, Joy Ann Broggi, Jeannine Broggi Armstrong (Kenny) and Julie Broggi Boyd (Dean); his great nieces and nephews, Kenny Armstrong, Jr. (Lisa), Katie Armstrong Faciane (Aaron), Renée Armstrong Buuck (Dalton), Adam Boyd (Kelsey) and Emma Boyd; and his great great nieces and nephews, Makenzie and Max Armstrong and Lily and Rex Faciane.
Mr. Latour retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board after teaching for over 30 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a medic while living overseas in Germany. He was a graduate of Southeastern University, and was their best cheerleader. Mr. Latour was a hall of fame member of DCI and founding member of Bleu Raediers. “Let his heart belong to the Cadets.”

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Friday, June 17, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM, with words of remembrance at 12:45 PM, followed by a Mass in the chapel at 1:00 PM.
