Elizabeth “Me-Maw” Regan
Elizabeth’s life began on June 17, 1948 and ended when she departed into a peaceful eternal rest on October 1, 2021. She was a native of the Irish Channel in New Orleans.
Elizabeth was preceeded in death by her beloved father, Raymond Regan and her son, Raymond “Ray-Ray” Bravender, who she loved and cherished with all of her heart.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle “Mimi” Bravender and Debbie Bravender Sacco(Luke).
Grandmother of Bruce Bravender, Kayla Bartholomew, Jude Tullier and Darbie Tullier. Me-Maw shared a very special bond with Jude & Darbie and they loved and adored her immensely.
Great grandmother of David Dufrene & Gabriella Daneshrad. She was even great grandmother to her spoiled grand “fur” dog, Kain.
Elizabeth is also survived by her two brothers, Raymond Regan(Sue) & Steven Regan(Pat). She was deeply cherished & loved by her dearest Aunt Helen Regan and her closest cousins, Mickey, Conn, Carl, Laura Ann, Johnny, Tommy and her “#1” fan David and a host of family & friends.
Elizabeth enjoyed watching Saints & LSU football. Her favorite pastime was finding the best bargins at any store, garage sale or estate sale, which she visited weekly.
She will be remembered by her giving heart & love of cooking for her family and friends but most of all for being a loving & caring caregiver which she truly enjoyed after retirement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Saturday, October 9, 2021at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Private interment in St. Patrick number one Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.greenwoodfh.com
